Anne A. (Nadolny) Gase, of Painesville, Ohio, a long time resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away June 16, 2017 at the age of 104. She was the daughter of immigrants from Poland, Stephen and Frances (Konczal) Nadolny. Beloved wife of Ambrose (Jack) Gase (deceased); loving mother of Jim Gase, Loren (Patricia) Gase and Colleen Tincher; dearest grandmother of Jeffrey (Tara) Gase, Jim Gardner, Jr, Julia Gase, Robert (Tricia) Gardner, Brian (Kelli) Gase, and Jennifer (Brian) Suto and twelve cherished great grandchildren: Riley, Brodie, Chase, Lucy, Walker, Paxton, Brennan, Beckett, Kiernan, Max, Josie and Miles. Loving sister to her 9 siblings who preceded her in death: Anthony, Max, Joe, Bernard, John. Sister Mary Frumentia, Pauline, Monica and Emily and son-in-law, Timothy Tincher.

She grew up in Temperance, Michigan and moved to Toledo, Ohio for most of her life. She attended Central Catholic High School. One can only imagine the many exciting changes she experienced in the world during her 104 years. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Her life revolved around her family and she will be remembered for that love of family, her sense of humor, her delicious pies and cookies and her enjoyment of life.
Anne had a strong faith and believed in the power of prayer and was devoted to praying the rosary.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road, (at Jackman) Temperance, Michigan on Thursday, June 22, 2017, where the Salesian Club will pray the rosary Thursday at 6:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Road, Toledo, on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 10:00 am, where she will lie in state after 9:00 am. Please meet at the church.

Memorials may be made to St. Clement Church in Anne’s name or to the charity of your choice. Please offer prayers on behalf of Anne’s soul, that her new chapters created for her in death are even more remarkable than those here on earth have been. And she would want us all to to raise a glass or two of wine to salute and celebrate her long journey.
